This award recognizes one co-op student and one intern student who has made significant contribution to their co-op or internship. The awardees will receive:
- A $750 cash award
- A recognition award
- Hotel accommodation and registration to attend the 2026 CIEC as deemed appropriate by the CEED Executive Board
Awardees will be asked to prepare a poster related to their co-op or internship experience.
Each student who is nominated for an award must complete the student application form and the committee must receive completed supporting nominations from at least one co-op/internship employer and one faculty or staff member from the student’s university or college. Student self-nominations are allowed. At least one nominator must be a CEED/ASEE member.
NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN. The nominee, college/university nominator, and employer nominator will each need to submit an online form linked HERE.
NOTE: The deadline for Student of the Year submissions is Monday, November 10, 2025 at 5:00 pm ET.
